I like the torn/corrugated paper combo. The bits of stamping on the lighter colored paper adds some neat interest too. Like too that strip of paper with brads? along it. It seems perfectly matched to ship themed LO.
The museum had some interesting artifacts - though I didn't take many pics. I took the 2 small pics from the Internet when I realized that I didn't have many.

The recovery of artifacts from the Cairo revealed a treasure trove of weapons, munitions, naval stores and personal gear of the sailors who served on board including an original gun carriage and the ship's bell.. There is one room where you can read about ironclads and their use on the Mississippi, plus the section on the salvage and restoration of the U.S. S. Cairo that you don't want to miss, but the majority of the museum is actual artifacts. "
