The glasses are actually made off ice and then set in a holder - otherwise you couldn't hold the glass. Too cold and it would be too slippery. Since the glass part is made of such thick ice (strange to drink out of), it only held about 3 ounces of Coke. That is all we wanted - just a soft drink and we really didn't want that.
