You guys, seriously, wow…

I'm not kidding when I say that your outpouring of awesomely sweet comments on my previous upload here a few days ago (my first on this site since the tail end of 2011) brought tears to my eyes.

Thank you each immensely for your wonderfully touching (and encouraging) welcome back messages and for your heartwarming compliments on that fun card.

It only seemed fitting to me then, for my next upload (again, an older creation – turns out I've got more of them then I'd remembered to share, so lots more will be appearing here in the near future) to be a thank you card – as I really want to express my gratitude to all of you for kindness.

This card was made for a dear American friend (and staggeringly talented photographer) of mine who has spent much of the past few years living and working in France.

She loves all things old school, shabby chic, floral, and feminine looking, so I incorporated elements of each into this creation.

Thank you – or should I say, merci beaucoup - again to all of you, sweet dears! You sure know how to make a girl feel at home here.
