LO for our DGD
This is for the August challenge on Rockin' Scrappin' Grands put up by Tish. "Summer" was to be our title. We had to use at least 2 photos, one of them circular. We had to have 3 other circles (mine are the enamel dots and the sun). We also needed flowers and a banner.
Products: Banner and pattern paper: Photo play Summer Daydreams
Black circular frame cut with Silhouette Cameo.
Enamel dots: Doodlebug
Journaling on the Summer tag: There are a lot of minnows in Devil's Lake. Much to your surprise you caught a catfish! You, Kian and Van admired your catch and then released it, to be caught another day.
Bottom: You and Kian were at the beach with me. Your mom and Oakley were at the campsite. I didn't communicated well with your mom. When Uncle Doug came with your life jackets I thought your mom knew you were going to "The Rocks" She didn't.
It was quite an experience for you! I gotta hand it to you, Rayn for jumping! You loved it and did it again and again. This year the water was high and that's why you could jump off the Rock. NEVER jump into a lake head first!! Always make sure it is safe to jump in at all!
There was no way Kian could climb over to where you had to jump. Uncle Doug helped him get over to an easier spot. It was much lower than where you were. He jumped once. He said he liked it, but I don't think he did. You know Kian, he'll never tell his true feelings.
