We were told not to miss the old library upstairs. However, I didn't know if I could walk up the stairs and had serious doubts that I could walk down again. One of the men who worked in the visitor's center who escorted us around to see the Book of Kells told us there was an elevator, off the beaten path but he would take us to it. I'm glad we took the advice and went upstairs to the library.
WOW again! Over 200,000 old books in the most classic library I've ever seen! I've never had a library knock my sock off before, but this one did!
