I was initially inspired by the photo in the August Inspirational Card Challenge. The blue door and flowers led me to choose this paper from Bo Bunny. Then when I thought about the actual design of my card, I was inspired by all the amazing card makers and scrappers here on SB.com. You are all an incredible fountain of inspiration. You motivate me to keep learning and to continue to become a better card maker. Thank you to each and every one of you for your kindness and encouragement!

I did not have a die to make cornflowers, but I knew I wanted to make some for this card, so I used different petal and flower dies that I had and with lots of trimming, shaping and fussing, I was able to create something that I am quite happy with. They are a bit difficult to see in this photo, so I added a close up as well. The silver and blue die cut frames are from Spellbinders. This card will be for my Mom's birthday in September and she loves a bit of bling. The sentiment is stamped onto a vellum circle. My double loop bow was tied using a comb.
