When I printed these pictures, I knew I wanted to journal about why my son looked so sad at the pumpkin patch, so I created a title and journaling explaining what happened. Here it is, just in case it's too small to read on the image: If there are pumpkins involved, I usually associate the word fall with the season of autumn. But this year, as we were walking to Heritage Park to pick out some pumpkins, Elliot fell forward on his skateboard and cracked his two front teeth. He was really shaken up, so this visit to the patch featured closed-mouth smiles and not the normal level of excitement. It also made us think of the other meaning of fall: “to drop down suddenly to a lower position!” For the Use Your Stamps challenge, I stamped the title, the squirrel, and the leaves and acorn. For the Cricut challenge, I used the Art Philosophy cartridge to cut the title box and circle.
