Journaling: Alexis gave everyone quite the scare a few days ago. She had two grandmas home to watch her that day. Grandma Marcia looked up in time to see Lexi chewing on something with a funny expression on her face. Now, Grandma Marcia is no slouch. She spent her career caring of the criminally insane at Napa State Hospital, so our little 2-foot terrorist, who did NOT want to give up her prize, was no match for her. A quick finger sweep of Lexi's mouth produced 4 small pieces of a water pill, which both of the grandmas take. Calls were made to the hospital and Poison Control who assured everyone that Lexi would be fine. And she is. A couple of bursting at the seams soggy diapers in the mornings and after naps, and a definite increase in diaper usage overall for the next couple of days, but all is well with Short and Cute. The rest of us, on the other hand...is that a new gray hair?
