This page was so fun to make. I used tissue paper I received from a scrapbook order I placed. I have learned that anything can be a scrapbook supply.
I started with a white piece of cardstock & Mod podge. I used a foam brush & covered the cardstock & then placed the tissue paper on top. I wasn't looking for a smooth look. After I got the tissue paper down & smoothed I put another coat of Mod Podge on top. While waiting for it to dry I gathered up my layers. Using scraps I matted my photos on a lime color & hot pink piece of paper. I used a felt round I light pink that I cut in half ad placed it as my bottom layer. I used a few straight pins as a decoration in the felt rounds. Among the layers under the photo I used the first page of a thank you card I received. I was a perfect match as it was white with gold sequins. Also in my layers I used some fun sticker lables. I used a gold America craft thicker word with some hearts for a title.
Next time you go to a birthday party check out the tissue paper that will be discarded. Or if you receive a pretty card in the mail use it on a layout!
