There were museums and a tour was offered of the place she was built – even a tour to go 40' down to the dry dock to get an idea of the footprint of the Titanic.

I could have easily spent a day here seeing all the things related to the Titanic. At least we saw the dry dock area from the outside as well as the Nomadic even though we didn't get to board it – it had just gotten too late in the day for the Nomadic tour.

The Nomadic was built in 1911 to be the tender ship for the Olympic Class Lines including ‘Titanic'. Constructed alongside her big sister, she is now restored to her original glory, and is the only remaining White Star Line ship in the world and a lasting legacy of Belfast's shipbuilding industry. Constructed at Harland and Wolff's Belfast shipyard she was designed by the same team as the great liners and built to the same exact standards.
