Well, this is definitely a different style of card for me and I really can't tell you where it came from! LOL I just knew I wanted to use the little ballet dancer with the butterfly wings image. I had my papers all picked out and put together including some cheesecloth and thought it just looks too plain. I went through all my die cut butterflies I'd made last month and put these two glittery ones together, cut it down the middle and stuck them on either side of the image. Still too plain to suit me! :-)

Then I remembered I had signed up for the September Cricut Challenge (this is my first submission - you have to have three)! I dug out my little box with all sorts of things I had cut out using my Cricut and found these two pieces. The one at the top I wasn't sure I would use until I realized I had used the same paper in the card layers! I tried it at the top and liked how it looked and wah-lah! I added some TH Distress Glitter to bling it up a bit because I felt it was too plain without something pretty. Then I added the pretty pearls from my sweet friend, Marylou, who gave those to me for my birthday! Thank you Marylou. The bottom piece I also added pearls from Marylou and Diamond Stickles to bling it up a bit. Added 3 pearls at the top of the image and I was finally satisfied.

Next came attaching it to the card body. Thought I would bring out the green in the image for that. With the card being so big I couldn't make an envelope for it so I'm sending it in a padded envelope! This is for one of my twin nieces in CA. The card for her twin sister is coming up!
