Page 731 - Volume Challenge - Voyage of the Vikings

Tuesday, July 29th, 2014 – Our friend, Patrick van der Wijk, dropped us off at the port around noon and we quickly checked in and put our carry-on items in our cabin. The ship would be here in port all day today, in fact it wasn't leaving until tomorrow morning. That gave us plenty of time this afternoon to explore the city of Amsterdam.

Patrick and Tamara had showed us Haarlem (where they live), Voldendam and a few other places in Holland but we saved Amsterdam for today's adventure.

NOTE NOT IN JOURNALING: I put the Voyage of the Vikings logo on the side of the ship.
