I am so inspired by this to make invitations for a boba tea party I'm planning for my daughter's birthday. I notice that the cool cup die is discontinued. :( Wondering if you might be willing to support my project by cutting me some watercolor paper and vellum cups. I'd love to connect and see if this might be possible.
Oh my goodness girlfriend! Love the vellum paper you used and yes it totally makes the tea look real! Great use of your Copics! I laughed at the pp and the wonderful embossing folder, perfect!!
I made this crazy scene card especially personalized for my niece who loves mocha bubble tea and her mini apricot poodle, Boomer.
I water colored the bubble iced tea with Tim Holtz Distess Ink, then I punched out a bunch of black circles to make the tapioca pearls in the drink. I sandwiched the bubbles between the watercolored tea and the vellum die cut cup and (to my surprise and relief) it resulted in a very realistic cool frosty looking bubble iced tea!
For the girl poodle which is from the MFT "Lucky Dog" stamp set and had a string of pearls around her neck, I used no line Copic coloring to hide the pearls and then popped on a bow tie to make the girl poodle a boy poodle.
I have a full description and list of supplies on my blog post here: http://www.craftypaws.us/personalized-encouragement-card/
