Too quickly an hour had passed and it was time to walk back to the bus stop. The 20 minute ride back was nice – we saw several Shetland ponies which made my day even better. They were a lot more cooperative than Nessie was yesterday! We could see the Shetland ponies – we never got to see Nessie!

Once back at the bus stop near where we the ship's tender would pick us up, we couldn't resist running into a little tiny fish & chips place. Very tiny. But oh, so good. The chips are among the best we've ever had and the fish was light and flaky and the batter was crisp and buttery. Perfect!

I'm glad we decided to just get one order to split because there were two HUGE haddock fillets and a plate FULL of chips. Even splitting them, it was all we could do to eat it all!
