I altered this $2 tray I found at a thrift store. I painted it black all over using Americana DecoArt Gloss Enamels Black. I then added a variety of solid color Recollections "Seaside"card stock, embossing one of them, and inserting them into each square. I embellished each section with die cut card stock shapes, distressed with ink, clothespin, cheesecloth, tassel, corner hardware, clay butterfly made using Sculpey Premo clay, shaped, molded, and baked, ribbon, beads, cabochons, fabric applique, and other embellishments.
