Really? Making me cry this early in the morning... ugh! ;0) Sweet (but sad) story and a definite treasure of a page! Love that quilt PP paper; it fits so well w/ the "older" generation of people in the photo!

Dh's mom with her parents. Over Christmas in 2011 her mom (dh's grandma) was in the hospital with cancer. A bit of background is that dh is the first grandchild of theirs to marry so they were always teasing us to hurry up and give them a great grandchild. When we went to visit her on Christmas she kept asking me where the baby was - she had been having bouts of confusion so we all chalked it up to that - however not even a month later we found out we were expecting our first - unfortunately we found out the morning of her funeral so she did not get to meet or even know she would have a great grandchild shortly.
