Bio: Born August 13, 1899 Died April 29, 1980. Sir Alfred Joseph Hitchcock KBE was an English film director and producer, at times referred to as "The Master of Suspense". He pioneered many elements of the suspense and psychological thriller genres.
My scrap page: Alfred Hitchcock's suspense disturbing thriller "The Birds" is based on a story by Daphne du Maurier. A woman (Tippi Hedren) that is finally attacked by black birds. A must see. Hehe It's one of the most celebrated films in history. He was one of only two movie directors whose faces are immediately recognisable to popular. Hehe
