A scarily good Halloween treat from Starbucks! Beware the Frappula - it bites! (And its soooo nummy!!) I heard about it on Facebook and HAD to try it - I ended up getting one on Sunday October 30th for my crop and then again on Halloween as we wandered the local village trick-or-treating with the kids. This is the second one (the better one!) and I managed to snap a pic of the cute sign someone in the café had made advertising the Frappula. Seems they vary by location and are 'supposed' to have two 'bites' in the whip from the strawberry preserves, but neither of mine had that fun effect. Oh well, they were seriously good either way! Sad I have to wait a whole year for another...

This one's just for fun and because I still had an hour left at my crop this past weekend and didn't want to just leave early. *gasp* :) I actually wanted to do this last month for the National Frappuccino Day, but ran out of time.

Sooo, instead this is for the Food Challenge (obviously a beverage of course) and National Cappuccino Day (11/8) and Espresso Day (11/23), as well as my Hoarders challenge.

I have actually had everything here for several years (like, we're talking pre-kids here!) waaaay back when I participated in Scraps of Darkness. A challenge back then for Halloween was to create a page based on your favorite horror movie. Now.... I am NOT a scary movie fan and definitely not a horror movie fan, BUT I do like some of the classics. Because I read voraciously and read Bram Stoker's Draccula in college for extra credit, I enjoy most Hollywood variations and vagaries of the novel from the classic 1931 film with Bela Lugosi to the '92 version with Gary Oldman, the Van Helsing series and the 2014 Dracula Untold (I'm dying for the second one to release!). Also love some of the TV versions, namely the shortly-lived NBC series with the drool-worthy JRM (swoon) as Drac. And yes, I've seen all the Twilight movies, but they are a completely different category! ANYwho, so I had planned to do my page based on Lugosi's Dracula at the time, but alas, I never made it. So all the fun stuff I got for the page; the red satin fabric and web lace, the wood castle, the stamps, etc, etc, have sat in my stash for the last 5 years. FINALLY I was able to utilize them to a similar degree celebrating this awesome beverage!

So... beware the Frappula! It has a bite! :)

Those stamps and the wood castle are from a LSS, the border at the bottom is K & Co, and I haven't the foggiest idea where I got the black bat stickers!
