And finally today, my little family on our first whale-watching excursion last month. My DS has become passionately obsessed with whales so DH and I thought it would be fun to take him whale-watching. (When you live in So Cal, whale-watching is a year-round activity, especially since the CA coast is a feeding ground for most migrating humpbacks, blue whales, orcas and dolphins!) We purchased a Groupon for Dana Point Whale-Watching and realized we didn't have to pay for our DD as she was under 2. So we invited my son's best friend to come with us. Then we kept it a secret from them for two whole weeks, all the way until we arrived at the wharf! We kept telling them they were going to go on an adventure. We announced to them what they got to do at the marina. They were, naturally, SO super excited! We were told blue whales had been spotted, but we didn't see any during our 3-hour tour. We did; however, find a momma humpback and her calf off the coast of San Onofre and watched them spout several times. Was very exciting for the kids AND I got it on video too! We did see several sea lions and pelicans too. It was a beautiful October day and one my DS is STILL talking about!

This is for the Scraplift the person Before You challenge. I got to lift LelaScraps-n-Stamps and loved how she had so many fun two-page LOs. I rarely do 2-pagers and thought it would be fun to lift one of hers. When I saw her LO 'Oh Look' seen here:

I immediately thought of our whale-watching pix. LOVE how this came out!

Also for Cricut - cut that cute humpback on my friend's Explore Air, but I have no idea what cart it is from since we used her iPad app to cut it!

Next for the Music Inspiration Challenge. I got Joy to the World by Three Dog Night and chose the topic 'Swimming in the deep blue sea' from one of the lines in the song. LOVE that song!

Lastly, for my Hoarders challenge, Sports/Play and page 1 is for the 5 Ingredient's challenge. Those large blue letter cards are American Crafts I got at a LSS a few years ago, but I cannot figure out what they're called!
