I cannot believe that Joe stood here for a minute to talk to Bill and his brother with Roan on his shoulders (to keep her out of the way).

Joe leaned his arm out to prop against John's truck and Roan leaned over and went to sleep. That child was sleeping soundly like that! How in the world?
