A couple days after her 4th birthday DD came into the house from playing outside and out of no where asked me "Mommy, now that I am 4, can I just do whatever I want or do I still have to ask you?" So wildly amused I was with this question I knew I would want to scrap it. So I grabbed my camera and followed her outside and snapped this shot of her and Sunny playing in the yard. What a couple of goof balls. I love that her birthday felt like a turning point and while excited about her ever growing list of skills, still conscientious enough to ask me before getting into trouble. She is turning out to be a pretty cool little kid. She knocks my socks off, actually. I wonder what this next year has is store for us.
