I made this CAS card with an old Penny Black Winter Friends stamp set that I am embarrassed to say this was the first time I had inked up. I also used an old Katy Sue Designs The Door stamp set for the little potted Christmas tree. This was also the first time I have ever tried a masking fluid (which was soooo cool!), which I used over the colored girl image before using finger daubers to create the glowing sky background.

I had so much fun playing with texturized Copic coloring, this masking, and the Distress Ink blending (this is also the first time I have felt really good about my ink blending!). When my hubby came into my craft room and raised an eyebrow at all the packages that had come in from my Black Friday shopping, I pointed to this card and declared, "It's cheaper than therapy!" LOL
