My Great Dane, Lucy.

DS2 & I were standing in the kitchen talking when I just happened to look over and see *that* face! Lucy is laying on the couch and that is her looking over the back of it...sorta! Her eyes are on their way to being closed after all!!

The journaling reads: "I was standing in the kitchen when I just happened to look into the living room while talking to Drake [DS2] & saw this face over the back of the couch."

**The BG cut is a free cut file from Paper Issues called "Sequin background"
**The large B&W flowers are sketch flowers from the Silhouette Store

Challenges:
-Ugly Paper Challenge: The PP behind the 'sequin' cutouts & the green-yellow striped pp were the papers I received from Karen (hurleygirl13) and from the embellies I used the buttons and the silver brads! (Next pic shows 'before')
-Dec Hoarders Challenge: Everything that wasn't from my 'uglies' had been hoarded. A lot of it I even forgot I had, but while trying to do this LO I came across it going through my stash! With the twist: 12 items: there are 12 pink sequins...total coincidence! I didn't even know what the twist was until after I finished the LO!
-Dec Mixed Media Challenge: I used white gesso to soften the BG and give a base for the water colors.
-Dec Sewing Challenge: Used my machine in a few places.
-Dec Boys Only~Girls Only: Girls Only Entry.
-Dec Scraplift Your Favorites: I lifted "Swimming" by Missy Whidden (https://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/540773/view/5770065/-1/0/0.html). I seriously LOVE her work, and she inspires me to really dig in and embrace all my mixed media products that I love, but am slightly afraid of too!
-Dec Scrap Your Pet with twist? I have silver brads & there is some blue-ish spots on there, and the heart is blue...
