Saturday, June 6th, 2015 Continued - What a nice flight back to Oahu and the Honolulu Airport! I love sitting by the window and watching all the beautiful shades of blue in the water. The scenery flying over the Hawaiian Islands is just beautiful!
Bill left me on the bench in front of the Honolulu airport while he went out to find a rental car for us. He sure knows how I love a convertible in Hawaii. In fact we both love to drive around with the top down. This is the place for it!

We drove directly to the base and were pleased to find an available room in one of our favorite buildings on base!
The room is not fancy at all, but is plenty big and has a huge deck downstairs with lots of tables and a BBQ. So convenient. Every time we go visit Hawaii we use that grill!

When we checked into our room on the 5th floor, it was like home to us, we have stayed in this building so many times.
On our pillows were 2 mints and the card from the housekeeping staff.
In our refrigerator was a bottle of cold water - Hawaiian brand - my favorite!
