I walked into a small business/restaurant just a few hours ago and was asked by the manager to create a card for the owners, who have just had a baby. (BTW, we frequent this place a lot and know all the adults involved.) The manager wanted it to be done quickly and have a rather flat design so that it could be returned (in the middle of a snowstorm no less) to the establishment for signing tonight by staff and customers alike. Also, she asked for the yellow and brown coloring, and we stole the business logo (a lion of course) for the inside write up. I didn't take a photo of that. We wanted to have the outside appear a little more baby friendly though. So, I literally walked on down the sidewalk a block or two to a local craft exchange business and grabbed the copper/metallic paper and the two stamps shown here. I colored both images with colored pencils and blended them with gamsol and then cut them out of course. The sentiment and the couple's first names (which I've obscured except for the first letters) were stamped and then heat embossed with Copper Tinsel embossing powder by Ranger. It is a lot more sparkly than it seems in photo, but I couldn't take a proper daytime photo.
The stamps used include the: Lion by Imaginisce, Baby from the Baby First Stampin Up set, Congratulations from Inkadinkadoo, Names from Making Memories FaLaLa Set and the Ampersand from the Sommerset Alphabet by Inkadinkadoo.
