I did this piece for the hoarders challenge. The canvas is a mix of sky blue cardstock, clear gesso, joint compound, distress paint in black soot, spare tulle, and a Tim Holtz stamp of an old 50s-era car in Chipped Sapphire.

The photos were taken on main street of a town near where I live. I just set the saturation to 0 to convert them to monochrome. The paper I matted them on is a paper I tend to hoard, but I think it added to the classic feel of the downtown scene.

The alphas are an old K&Co. set that I've had for about 7 years or so. I honestly don't know what I'm saving them for.

The sparkly washi is something else I hoard. It's... Recollections, I think? I just know I tend to hold onto it like it's real silver or something.
