OMG she is melting my face with that much cuteness! Your watercolors turned out perfect! I Really need to start playing around with that style. This is soooo inspiring. LOVE I. (Ps sorry you had to go through the H,F & M. Daycare brings along a mixed bag of goodies, don't they? I just spent two days off last week because DD played a game fever peekaboo every other day).
I love your watercolored background. I think I'm going to take that class. It has such a soft appearance for that sweet photo. This is a beautiful layout for a beautiful little doll.
I am SOOO happy with how this page came out! I've been off half days all last week while this little girl had hand, foot and mouth disease (which was mild, thankfully!) and so while she was napping I caught up on my Netflix shows and played with my watercolors. I did the bg before I even knew what papers I was going to use, though I had the photo. At my crop yesterday I finally sat down and put the page together and absolutely LOVE how it turned out! Did I say that already?? LOL
This little girl has a number of different smiles: The Mischevious, The Happy, The Tickled Pink, The Chesteshire Cat and many others without names yet. Her laugh is also a beautiful thing, but that's harder to capture in a picture. This is probably the closest to that as she was really giggly happy when I dropped her off one day at daycare. I wanted a picture of her in her Patagonia beanie that I'd found at Ross when she was 2 months old. Amazing she can already wear it and I love how she looks in it! Too bad we don't get many cold days in So Cal, but she did get to wear it in Seattle for Christmas.
Anyway, I digress. This is for my January Music Inspiration Challenge using the song "Scars to Your Beautiful" by Alessia Cara. I have NEVER heard this song before, but I liked it and I had several lyrics I wanted to use. Ultimately I chose 'your beautiful' from the song title for part of my title and I love how it turned out! I also did the twist of something brand new by using a couple V-day embellies I just found at Target last week in the dollar bins - the enamel hearts and the canvas 'XOXO' banner.
For the Cricut challenge I cut the two hearts using Accent Essentials and the 'Beautiful' title using Cuttin' Up.
Also for Girls Only, National ____ Day (Hat Day 1/15) and my Hoarders Challenges w/ 17-item twist. TFL!
