This page literally took me all of 40 minutes - I LOVE it when that happens! I was on a roll at my crop yesterday and, after finishing my first pic of 2017 page, I decided to do one more layering/negative space page. I have a hard, hard time leaving a lot of negative space, but for this one I also used a printed bg so I didn't feel like it was that negative. Plus I LOOOOVE this old BG paper line and am glad I finally played with it more.

A shadowed pic of my littles with their noses to the window at Burbank Airport on Christmas Eve. We flew that day as it worked out best with our schedules. I've said it before, but the thing I love most about flying from BUR is the tarmac boarding. I'm not sure who loves it more, the kids or my DH! LOL You're so close to the airplane and that rarely happens when travelling these days. Plus the airport is small and easy to get to so we don't have to be there three hours early - and with small kids, that's a BIG deal!
We were a little nervous with DD this year as she's not one to sit still for very long at all. She flew last year, but she was 5 months old so that didn't count. She's fully mobile now and very independent and we honestly debated giving her a little Benidryl pre-flight. We did book the 'naptime' flight with high hopes. Well we forgot the Benedryl in the suitcase, but it turned out mostly okay. Lots of snacks, window-sharing (grudgingly) with her brother and shameless use of the iPads and she made it all the way until we were landing before she finally conked out. DS on the other hand is an old pro at flying, though this was the first time he actually had to 'share' the windows... *sigh*

Anyway, I snapped this quick pic as they were watching the people get off the plane before we got on. You can see my DD's face, but DS is kind of in shadow more (hint: he's wearing a baseball hat).

Mostly just for my Hoarders challenge as pretty much everything here is ancient stash-diving, including those two stamps - a pack of them I got at Ms on clearance and never used before yesterday!
TFL!
