Right? While hubby was enjoying a boys weekend in Denver, I was inspired to work on some of the pictures we took while there last July. This is just a Hodge-podge of photos I took while we were driving through the mountains. They were a great opportunity for me to play around with my friends new Silhouette Cameo 3. He was having a hard time figuring out the tech, so I "volunteered" to "check it out for him. " Yeah that thing is AWESOME!!! The title and the mountain back drop are a cut file from the silhouette design store. It really makes this LO look 3D! I cute the words in white and half inked them in green. The shadow I cut with a mossy green and the mountains I cut wiuth a textured grey card stock. Its tricky figuring out what depth to cut everything. I did end up going over some of it with my craft knife, Is that normal? After getting all that down, dressing it up with some stickers and flowers we a snap. I was inspired by the work of Heather Shrank. Although not a direct lift, I was definitely channeling her vibe. And I love how this turned out! Thanks Heather and thanks for looking.
