I find masculine cards difficult at the best of times but trying to make a Valentine for a male friend that was in no way 'mushy' was quite a challenge. I decided to go the 'cute' route. Pebbles' My funny Valentine collection had lots of fun sentiments/images to choose from in their ephemera pack and this 'grape' ;) one fit the bill. I cut a piece of wood-look paper from Carta Bella's Christmas Delivery 6x6 pad with my largest stitched rectangle die. I then cut 2 banners. The first out of purple cardstock that I embossed with a tiny hearts embossing folder and the second out of a piece of green patterned paper from a Studio Calico 6x6 pad. I layered the banners and added my printed cardstock shape using foam dots. Two red heart stickers, and a red and white twine bow finish it off.
