Valentine's Day is a big event for our family. I make a special dinner for them, cloth napkins, vase of flowers and all. Next to each plate I place a handmade valentine that each holds a special individual message for each grandchild. We bake cookies. Cupcakes. Sometimes an old-fashioned two-layer cake. Mini cakes. Chocolate-dipped pretzels. Brownies. It varies each year - with the exception of cupcakes. Those are always on the menu for V-day. The children have so much fun decorating them. It's a joy and delight to watch them during the process and then eating them. And the time flies by with each passing year. So I treasure each little moment. I will dearly miss these special moments when they are all grown up. But I think they will carry on the tradition when and if they have children of their own.

Layout using an older photo of one of the GC. This was from a birthday celebration but it went very well with this valentine-themed layout so used it. Hearts ... Hearts everywhere! I know there are a lot of "hearts" on here. But I adore hearts and couldn't help myself. Anyone else a huge heart fan? Little odds & ends. Some punchwork. A little do-dad from dollar store. The little cherub was from an older Hampton Art stamp set that was cut out and stickled lightly. I hope everyone had a nice Valentine's Day :) For those who take time to peek, thank you!
