My two babies last week enjoying an old family recipe - top secret St. Patty's Day treat: GREEN STUFF! Okay, it's called Mint Green Dessert in the old recipe book, but we've always called it Green Stuff. It was always a raving hit with our friends and is fast becoming one with my kids. My DS even remembered it from last year and was super excited for it. It's basically sugar with a side of sugar and a dash of sugar... Never let it be said my kids don't have a sweet tooth! LOL!
Its similar to the dessert treat known as 'dirt' with crushed Oreos and a creamy filling, but ours is flavored with mint and tinted green (hence 'green' stuff). Apparently there's a strawberry version, but we've never tried it...

This is for my Ugly Paper Challenge entry - the dessert printed paper, the lighter green paper being my ugly papers and the zigzag chipboard, bling arrows and doily as the embellies. I misted the doily (which was pink) to that minty green color (and got green hands as an added bonus). These weren't the original photos I'd planned to use, but changed my mind at the last minute because I wasn't digging where the page was going. I have plenty of both papers left and plan to do something else as well.

For the National ____ Day: Old Stuff Day March 2 although it could also be Dentist Day March 6th.. LOLOLOL!!! Also for Use Your Stamps, Not to be Squared (I think), Scraplift Your Favorites, Food and my Hoarders challenge. I've had that Hero Arts color stamp forever and have played with it, but haven't actually finished anything. All the embellies are old - especially those green letters (because I got them in a grab bag and hate glitter...). The lift is actually from my Pinterest feed and I can't find the link to it of course... but here is something similar:

The treat and the rainbow washi tapes are brand new.
TFL!
