WHAT!!......don't you feel guilty for moving on and giving such a perfectly beautiful little pup a home. I truly understand your loss of a long time friend, my Daphne of 17 years. I am absolutely positively sure Princess wants to remain in your heart forever and so does Daphne, but she would also not want me to dwell on my loss, but add the love of a new kitty to ease my pain. I adopted Emily-Rose and saved her from horrible treatment and abandonment. I know Daph is looking down smiling as I did the right thing to save another feline. Hugs Linda PS. My DH also said NO more, but he took me down to the shelter for adoption and they are best buddies now

Don't feel guilty, Princess loved you and when we love someone we want them happy. Cici is not a replacement at all of course not. You have alot of love to share and Cici needs you as much as you need her. It's like having another child in a way that's all. Prayers for hubby to love her too.

ohh...I hope your husbands not hard on either of you and comes to love the pup. Why wouldnt he not fall in love with her? I love the name you chose for her. You know, Princess was your best friend and loved you, she would understand your needs better than most :o)Ro

aw Lorna, she is so sweet. you have nothing to be guilty about; you are not replacing your Princess, that would be impossible. you are giving a new furbaby a lovely home and a lot of love. sit with it and with Ceci and you will make the decision that is best for you.
