I am with your hubby - the snakes can be avoided, but my family love them. So if I were there, we would have seen them all! LOL! I absolutely love your cool and creative 2-pager!
Love the desert colors you used and the die-cut critters! I love your work with the top and bottom borders - may lift that from you! Burrowing owls are so cute - we used to have one at the Animal Ark.
That border totally rocks!!! Those photos are terrific. I agree that owl is adorable. The background paper really brings out the subjects in the photos. Great job.
Love love love the top and bottom border on this one! It really has a deserty feel to it Very creative way to get all the letters in too! I'm with Tom on viewing the snakes though - No thank you! I love the tortoise! I had a tortoise in Miami about that size and his name was Georgia. I used to paint his toenails red. We had him for at least 10 years and he hibernated every winter - guess it got too cold for him in Miami. Then in the spring - there he was again every year! He loved to eat the dog's canned food and they ate together out of the same bowl.
It was on to the Desertarium to see and learn about desert critters like tortoises, monsters, turtles, lizards, toads, and owls. The burrowing owl is so tiny and so cute. DH insisted on not viewing the snakes! :)
Thanks so much for your visit. I'm so honored.
