My annual Scifi/Fantasy/Horrer/Gameing/General nerdlyness convention.
I have 3 pages of the con, this one, the other one titled "Convergance" and one of the panel I was on detailing methods for longterm survival in case of the Zombie apocolyse. Please feel free to go have a look at them.
As for this page- theres no journaling becuase its meant to be put in my actual journal, next to the relevant post.
But, a few details for your bennefit- the top picture is the sandbox for the "memorial luau" for a beloved charicter that got killed off in a popular movie. The toast is from a room party tradition- the House of Toast- where they make toast and give you the option of over 50 ingrediants- ranging from MSG to peanutbutter to oysters. The plastic dinos were also from the luau..said charicter played with plastic dinos in a memoriable scene from the tv show. For some reason I ended up chewing on one of them for much of the con.
The design was meant to be dizzying, and a bit overwhelming, but kind of mellow. Which is sort of the only attitude I can manage with not sleeping for 3 days of nerdy fun that completly overruns the local Sherriton.
