This is Cara in 2015, her 7th birthday photo shoot. She was peeking out from behind the concrete pillar at the Botanical Gardens. I Love this because it shows her personality beautifully. She is a playful, happy kiddo. This was my first attempt at using mixed media in scrapbooking. I have used similar products in college art classed but it has been 40+ years. The BG has gesso followed by gelatos, and Heidi Swap color shine in sweet mint and dylusions ink spray in Fresh lime. I fussy cut the title from Shimelle Little by Little The flowers and pps are from that collection too. I wanted some enamel dots but could not find any in stores so I made my own. I punched circles from cardstock and then used Glossy Accents to give the gloss and dimension. They aren't as nice as real enamel dots and I got a bit messy with the glossy accents but they do the trick and if you aren't just holding the page close or at the right angle you can't really tell IRL. It was fun and I hope to get some more ink spray colors and try again. Next time I will back my fussy cut items with several layers of cardstock to add some more dimension. All suggestions are gratefully accepted.
