Thanks for the story behind the picture, because I was thinking he ate all of your peanut butter M&Ms!!! LOL!! This is so funny and awesomely cool! I love his sense of humor- that's the only thing that makes life tolerable!
OMG! First Kathy, well, done page! Second, so sorry to here about DH's long battle- I admire his sense of humor and his drive over the past 30 year s... my own son has been battling congestive heart failure for almost 8 years, he will be 33 in May.....TFS
Awesome Halloween page. I really like the spooky picket fence strip. I'm very sorry about your husband's medical issues. Thank you for sharing such a personal fact about him here with all of us. It's an important reminder to scrap the lighter side of heavy issues.
Sounds like your husband has a great sense of humor. Sometimes to get through the things in life that are a bit unsettling, or even scary, a sense of humor is important. I think you can find humor in almost anything, even bad situations. They say laughter is the best medicine and it probably is therapeutic for your husband, much better than stressing over it. I'm sure it is very difficult, if not impossible for you to laugh along with him though! I know I couldn't, I worry too much about Bill and his heart issues. But your husband sounds awesome! The layout is wonderful - I have that punch and its one of my favorites. I haven't thought about it in years and I need to dust it off and use it again! I had forgotten about it and it is so perfect on your layout! Love the little blocks of Halloween paper and the colors - I love fall colors when coordinated like this! My favorite layouts are the fall and fall holiday layouts with the oranges and blacks and browns and golds. Makes me think of the cooler, brisk weather and slight chill in the air - love that time of year!
A bit of morbid humour unfortunately. My husband has been fighting heart disease for the past 30 years and our humour tends to run to the dark side. When walking through the stores last October he found this prop and thought it hilarious to try out. I must admit I told him to stop practising. Made with the kit sent from the swap that Tammi ran last October! What a brilliant idea that kit swap is.
