My second attempt at mixed media LO. Its of Cara on here 7th birthday photo shoot. We went to the botanic gardens to take the photos. The papers are K and Company Americana, an old set of pps. I fussy cut the flowers from the page. The letters are glittery thickers. I used Dylusions London Blue ink and Heidi Swapp Navy color shine. I did not use the gesso and the paper stayed flat but the color shine soaked into the paper more than I wanted, the dylusions did not soak in so bad. I used the packaging technique to apply the inks. First I outlined a shape for the photo mat on the BG pp and then used the ink around it so as not to waste the ink. The cardstock is the cheap stuff from Ms or HL.
