Love the seal ion lion statue and the story behind it. The fish hook plaza is truly interesting. I wonder what the significance of them are? Glad you caught the double paragraph. Yum...hot fudge sundaes!!! The gray background and the lighter patterned paper really brings out the colors in the statues. Five hours in a car...aaaargh!
Sunday, September 18th, 2016 – After we left the beautiful Seville Cathedral yesterday, we were back on the road again and made it as far as Aquain, where we found a hotel for last night. Today we drove from Aquain to Valencia. Long drive! Around 5 hours which is a long time for me to be cooped up in a car! --- We took a few pictures on the drive today, but none that were really exciting. Bill calls me the little sea lion and I call him the big sea lion. He gave us those names because we like to cuddle like sea lions on the rocks – they are always nestled up against each other. When Bill spotted the statue of the sea lion in one of the little towns, he took plenty of pictures!
We saw a vacant area covered with little statues of fish hooks. We decided that was worth a picture. We thought that was moderately interesting. --- We saw a vacant area covered with little statues of fish hooks. We decided that was worth a picture. We thought that was moderately interesting.
We were glad to get a hotel in Valencia tonight and check email. Then we walked to McDonalds near our hotel for hamburgers and for a special treat – hot fudge sundaes!
We are both so happy that tomorrow is the last day on the road and tomorrow night will be our last night in a hotel!
Then we board our cruise ship!
I just noticed that I repeated a paragraph twice. Don't know how that happened, but I'm going over there now to fix it!
