I attended a wedding on Saturday and I was the lucky one to take the floral centerpiece home. It is huge...the white hydrangeas are washing out the colors...IRL it's so vivid. Just had to show it off. Oh, and the wedding was beautiful. The couple had an officiant perform the service. My great nephew is Catholic and the bride is Jewish and the ceremony was beautiful and so heartfelt. They wrote their own vows which were lovely. And the venue was fabulous with gardens and fountains; great food; and as you leave in the main lobby there were urns of coffee and hot chocolate; hot pretzels and chorizos; and cigars, for the road! Since we had an hour drive, I of course needed both the pretzel and the chorizo. This after a cocktail hour, a dinner, and a viennese table that had a huge chocolate fountain and bananas foster!!!!
But I digress, I took some up close pics of the floral arrangement too. And, for some reason, I am not getting a reaction to the flowers....there is no scent. Oh, and be sure to look at the close up of the blue and purple flower....I'm pretty sure they are orchids.
