I like the way you placed the two different backgrounds alternately in the nine pockets. Like the sanding of the embossed background. Some wonderful fussy cutting. The fence pieces are a really neat addition as well.
Such a happy, timelessly charming PL. Looking at it really does feel like stepping straight into a beautiful, well kept garden teeming with scrumptious eats and elegant blooms alike. Awesome work!
I was the lucky recipient of this beautiful PL!! I absolutely love it! So many wonderful details that I know you put a lot of work into. I love and appreciate this thoughtful gift so much!
Hi everyone! This is a pocket letter I made for Donna's MAKE THEIR DAY! NSD Pocket Letter Challenge. Summer was one of the themes to choose from and I thought of these Close To My Heart - Country Born Seasons & Nature clear stamps I've had for a few years when I decided on the theme. I knew it was something that our friend, Brandy, would like since she is a horse-loving country girl!
I stamped all five images and used watercolor pencils as well as felt marker on the horses, then fussy cut them all out. All of the phrases except for "there's no place like home" are included in that set. I stamp embossed those using TH Walnut Stain and Zing Clear Embossing Powder.
The little red and pink flowers, fence (inked in a bit with TH Walnut Stain) and ombre ribbon (under the horses and the left border) are from Hobby Lobby. The pale yellow under the apples and sunflower can is drawer liner. Under each image I punched the top edges and ran them through Paper Studio's Quatrefoil embossing folder and then sanded down the raised edges with my sanding block. All of the various stickers were from the local Dollar Store.
The "green grass" trim behind the fencing is Making Memories Childhood.
