It is great that you have the tape with his writing on it. The splatter and the strips are so neat on this. Like that you've included a couple of airplane images and a section of map to hint at what your journaling mentions.

Hi everyone! I was a guest designer at Lasting Memories for the month of May, and this is my project for week three: Use strips of paper or washi tape in a BIG way. I love this layout because the pictures are of my dad, who died in 2009, when he was only 20 years old and stationed at Cam Ranh Bay Air Base in 1971 during the Vietnam War. What was the most exciting to me was that I found a strip of tape on the back of the pics that peeled right off, so I was able to use his label in his handwriting as part of my journaling.
