As some may know, Tim Holtz did a "12 Tags of ... " series from 2007-2016. I never participated in the "challenge" until 2015, so I'm a few years "behind." (LOL) Anyhow, I decided to go all the way back to where it all started (2007 - 12 Tags of Christmas) and "catch up" on my own. I had hoped to be farther along that #3 of 2007 by now, but I had life interfere in my crafting time! (SHEESH!!) This is my take on THs 3rd tag of 2007, and I'm so happy I finished! (Especially I started it in my head 2 months ago, but hadn't worked out what to do even if I had had the time!)

**Technique Overview: TH used Distress Embossing Powders on his original tag, I own zero Distress Embossing Powders, and I don't believe they are available in the same range of colors now (I think there are only a few available actually). I had to work out how I was going to make a distressed embossed image with regular embossing powder! Somehow, in a mad stroke of "genius", I figured it out!! In short, I stamped the image with the clear embossing ink, used clear embossing powder, used "Perfect Medium" markers to fill in the areas, sprinkled some clear embossing powder on, sprinkled the colored embossing powder on, then used my heat gun! (I did one color at a time!!). The gold for the flower centers is the only different "technique." There I used a distress marker (linked) and straight gold embossing powder (linked).

Other Products:
-The stamp is from Simon Says Stamp, "Floral Bliss"
-The butterfly is from HL, "My Garden Friends" (it was with all the fairy garden supplies)
-The trim at the bottom is The Paper Company
-The fiber at the top and the eyelet are both unknown
-I cut the tag out of a manilla folder on my Cameo
-"a la mode" clear embossing powder
-Ranger "Perfect Medium" markers (they came in a Perfect Pearls set a long time ago)
