Give a Cheer
There is a story here, found through multiple generations of genealogical research and hoarding of heirlooms. The story was found recently as period newspapers come available online. This article is from 1889. The store is the nursery. The moment captured decades later with his grandson (and my grandfather) is all the more striking for the bicycle captured in the moment.
It is the heirloom photographs and genealogy that got me involved in scrapping. Telling the story by using the image. The small frame is vintage from the antique store.
