It must have been a comfort to know that your grandmother was with you and your daughter during this time of transition. I think you are spot on. Our loved ones are always close, and if we know how to listen, we hear them in our day to day interactions.

A Girl and Her Bear

My daughter when she about 5 months old having conversations with her bear. She loved to jibber jabber with it. The bear had been my grandmas's (DD Great Grandma). She passed away the week before she was born and had dementia. As the dementia got worse so would often talk to her bear and have it dance about. So I like to think she was on the other side of the conversation with my daughter.
