What can I say?! I'm having fun using watercolor paper and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads! This one was a big challenge because I didn't really know how to make hills with a lowering sunset! I tried to find something with instructions online but didn't want to spend a lot of time so I just made it up as I went along! LOL

I bought four different clear acrylic stamp sets (Inkadinkado) last week on Amazon for a very good price and the horse and meadow stamp sets were two of them. I love that horse stamp set. It has several different poses. I'm sure Brandy would love them!

Okay, so, I made the hillsides first by tearing scrap paper, laying it down and started inking from the torn edge. The upper layer was a bigger challenge because I didn't want to ink over the lower layer. I think it came out pretty good. Then the real challenge was making my sunset (which is just the blank watercolor paper). I placed my torn paper over the hills, my circle for the sun where I wanted it and then inked the sunset colors in. I love how it turned out.

Next was choosing which horse stamp. I decided on the rearing horse. I had to use my black watercolor pencil and gel pen to fill him in so he wouldn't look green on his lower quarter! LOL Then I stamped several images of the meadow and my evergreen trees. To give them some shading I ink up the stamps and then tap them on scrap so it isn't vibrant black all over.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you like my card that I had so much fun making! Hugs to all.
