Well here is my take on a Friendship Umbrella. There are various ways and sizes to create them. This is going to my new friend Lisa Landry (iluvcats). Lisa needed abit of cheering up last week when we spoke so instead of a card I thought I would finish this one of two I was trying my hand at instead of a card. Putting them together was abit of a challenge for me but the decorating was fun. Lisa really liked it and I am glad I sent it to her. There is a joy and a comforting reward when we do for others. Especially when they least expect it. It's "Happy Mail" :) I have been on a gifting roll since the June Tag Swap that Donna Anderson hosted (bonporf). It was the start of sharing and making something for others. Donna has hosted several swaps and I bet all the girls swapping must feel wonderful creating for another person. So this is all Donna's fault. lol lol But I truly have to Thank her again for asking me to join that swap because I have enjoyed the creating and giving. And perhaps too like the girls that mostly do cards. There is one gal here my second one is going to and I will have it and the reason in my description when she receives it and then post that one. You girls keep up all the love and caring in the creative and beautiful projects you are creating for others as it makes this craft really fulfilling. TFL
