Some action shots of DS playing soccer last season, which was his first. He loved it, but showed more signs of wanting to defend than dribble the ball (despite his excellent dribbling skills that we've taught him since he could walk... IMHO of course...) So none of them show him with the ball, but the bottom one does show him right before he blocked a shot. DH took these because Mommy was on the field.... as coach! :)

For the Monthly Sketch Challenge: Week 3. Soon as I saw those hexigons, I thought of soccer and knew it was time to do some action shots! (My other option was pool pix, but I just loved the tie-in with the soccer ball hexagon.) This one came together in less than an hour last night since I happened to have the Cricut already out. Cut the large white hexis first and then a smaller one to be my stencil for the photos and papers. Added grass paper (duh!), some washi and my new chalk pens and BOOM, page done! LOVE how this turned out!

Also for Sports, Not to be Squared, Boys Only and National Take Your Pants for a Walk Day (7/27) and my Hoarders challenges. Had these soccer papers since we signed him up for AYSO - LAST year! (He starts season 2 in August...) And of course that Prima Allstar line... I'm rapidly running out of those.... (Psst Prima... *nudge nudge*)
