I'm trying to get the rest of the Tim Holtz 12-tags done, starting back with the first year that he quit offering them as "Christmas Specific." (I already finished the first five years worth of tags, and they hang on a garland that spans my hallway during the holidays.)

This one is my version of his March 2012 tag - which you can see here.

Like the rest of the world, I really love the way Tim's brain works, and I love the way his brain makes MY brain work. Once I knew that I wanted to DO these, it's a bit of a trick to take the idea that he puts up there and reinvent it to be a Christmas theme, but that's my goal.

So -- I didn't have the cement, but I DID have distress embossing powder in three shades of green from way back in 2007 when I first started the Tim Tags Journey. It's not quite the same, but it's close enough, and I'm very VERY happy with how this turned out!

The icicles were from the negative part of the die cut. It was already sticky, and it was a simple thing to add some glitter, some glue to hold the glitter down, and trim it to fit the top. That's some outside the box thinking...something I'm not normally very good at, but this time, I think my mojo angel was sitting on my shoulder saying, "hmmm...what if...." Thanks, Angel.
