This is my pink scraproom where I scrapbook all of my projects. It is my haven, my retreat, my ''me'' time. My husband handmade the long white countertop which is very practical and this is were I use by Big Shot to emboss and die cut also my glue gun and most of my paints and gesso. I find the countertop is just at the right height to do my work standing up and I can also use the high chair to sit (Ikea chair). The pink rolling cart is an Ikea cart which I used pink spray paint from Michael's to alter the color, this is where I keep on the first shelf all my coloring crayons and pens. On the second and third shelf my coloring books. The white bins on each side of the cart are from Ikea and I keep my paintbrushes and media tools. The pink rolling cart with white baskets was bought at Home Goods and was beige I used the same pink spray paint to alter it, the white baskets were already included, this is where I keep all of my punches which are easily accessible. The white oval medallion comes from Michael's from the Sophie collection which was beige and I painted it white, I use it to hang my notes with pink little clothespins of projects and ideas to do. Under the white medallion is my washi tape dispenser which my husband handmade for me. Beside the white medallion is a 3 tier made out of two white candlesticks topped with a finial with 3 metal pink plates (Ikea) which my husband handmade for me, this is where I keep my Pan Pastels. The two pink lamps give off a warm ambiance at night (bought at a garage sale they were a perfect pink for my room). Beside one of the lamps my pencil sharpener; very practical! On the left hand side of the photo on the wall is my grid wall (handmade by my husband) to hang all of my embossing folders, dies grouped from small to big. The top white shelf on the wall is handmade by my husband with an Ikea light underneath perfect lighting at all angles! On the shelf I have 2 tall pink glass candle holders (Michael's), mini frames (Michael's), a 12 X 12 scrapbook photo display which holds a 12 X 12 LO. The letter M for my name handmade by myself and a jute project of our trip to Tulum, Mexico handmade by myself. Under the lighted shelf are 2 altered photo display frames 12 X 12 of my different photos trips in the Caribbean on a ocean based theme. The 3 drawers were bought at a garage sale which I altered the color and sanded to give a shabby chic look, I keep my glue, scissors, tape and tools in there. The shelving unit on the wall on the right hand side of the photo as well as the unit underneath comes from Ikea in the antique stained pine collection. The jars on the shelf are from Ikea I keep all of my ribbons and buttons in there grouped by color so they are easily hunted down for a project! The pink baskets are from Ikea as well I keep my magazines. The pink storage boxes were a gift, this is where I keep my handmade mini albums. Thanks for looking!
